Between 23 December 2015 and 6th January 2016, “Beyaz Eller” undertook ‘Winter Warmth’ Project to distribute Mazut in northern rural Homs.
Despite threats and unstable circumstances, along with increasing number of IDPs in need for heating oil, the institution successfully distributed 8,380 liters of Mazut on displaced families- each received 40 liters. The number of beneficiaries reached 209 families- 1,250 individuals.
In Future, the institution plans to distribute heating oil on displaced families in northern rural Homs and the Coast; as both areas witness the greatest of displacement waves since the beginning of the Syrian revolution
