الفصاحة والخطابة

Activities in the Universal Children’s Day:

On this day….

The Universal Children’s Day was set in 1954 as the 20th November of every year to consolidate international interdependence, raise awareness of children around the world, and enhance their welfare.

The 20th of November is a significant day as it coincides with the anniversary of the UN GA’s adoption of the Children’s Rights Declaration. Also, in the same day, year 1989, the GA approved the Children’s Rights Convention (CRC).

Mothers, fathers, teachers, nurses, doctors, government officials, civil society activities, religious figures, heads of local communities, businessmen, media figures, youth and children themselves can play a pivotal role in connecting the Children’s Universal Day to their societies, communities, and nations.

The Children’s Universal Day gives everyone a starting point to defend, consolidate, and celebrate children’s rights, and translating them into dialogues and procedures that brings a better world to children.

The thirtieth anniversary of the Children’s Rights Convention has a particular relevance. It is the time to call for adequate measures to defend the children’s rights. Thereof, which measures will your take?
