Undertaking ‘Ramadan Food Baskets’ Project for Year 1437 in Homs
Supervised by International Mercy, Social Reform Association- Kuwait, Beyaz Eller Institution undertook ‘Ramadan Al-kheir II’ project for year 1437 in Al-wa’er district and northern rural Homs.
Ramadan baskets contained basic food staples that every family needs- sugar, rice, lentil and cooking oil. Each contained no less than 17 items of basic food supplies.
The project benefited 1,280 individuals in Homs city, and 3,130 in Al-Waér district. In addition, it reached another 3,130 beneficiaries in northern rural parts of the province.
