“Beyaz Eller” in cooperation with “Leqa’ ”, an association specialized in providing aid to the Syrian population, organized an entertainment event for orphan Syrian children and refugees in Kahramanmaraas.

Organized in “Osman Sayin” sports salon, the event was attended by “Mehmet Türk türköz”, “Dulkadiroğlu” governor, “Mustafa Gültekin”, head of Kahramanmaraas branch of Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency, “Haron Demirkol”, head of Kahramanmaraaş Immigration Administration, “Ammar Abdo”, head of “Şam Humanitarian Relief Association”, “Muhammet Zekeriya”, Head of “Leqa’ Association”, in addition to “Beyaz Eller” representatives and Syrian families.

Attending families and children were wholeheartedly delighted by the show. Orphan children chanted Arabic songs and staged a number of plays.

The event included providing food assistance to 125 families and financial sponsorship of 170 orphan children, who will receive regular, monthly, funds.

Mehmet Türk türköz, “Dulkadiroğlu” governor, said that this type of events is increasingly rewarding. “We hope this event will have a snowball effect, our contribution (to the Syrian cause) is met by similar efforts from their part (i.e., Syrian associations). We are happy and honored by attending this event. We thank heads of “Leqa’ Association” and “Beyaz Eller” as well as the guests from Bahrain” he said.

After the event, food and souvenirs were distributed.
