“Beyaz Eller” strived through field offices and local teams to easen up the growing hardship for individuals and households in these areas by undertaking a relief project using generous funds from “Abdullah Al-Nouri Charity Society”.
Through this work, we successfully distributed 625 winter kits consisting of mattresses, pillows, and blankets, to battle the cold and changing winter temps.
An elder in his fifties reflects:
A young female aged 20 whose face reflects malnutrition and lack of sleep, says:
“I was deported with my family from Deir al-Zour to a small house in Aleppo countryside that lacked the simplest facilities of life. I am thinking roundedly how to overcome the present circumstances. But many obstacles are inevitable.”
“My house was destroyed and I lost my husband to violence. Forced to flee with my four children, we strive to remain alive amid intolerable climatic conditions and ongoing violence.”
One of the children (Aged 8) spoke hardly through freezing lips:
“Before deportation, my dream was to pursue education and succeed through my life. Now my greatest wish is to sleep for long hours unbothered by cold bites.”
The dire conditions make it necessary that we continue delivering projects and services to lessen the suffering around us,indifferent of any obstacles. So long as our aim is to rescue the needy, we will pursue it with iron wills.
