On Friday 23/09/2016, our fellow Ibrahim Assawas and two of his sons- Mahmoud (11 years) and Mohammed (8 months) were killed during a Russian airstrike targeting their house in Aleppo.

Ibrahim works at “Beyaz Eller” relief office in Aleppo, and is one of prominent activists in humanitarian relief.

Despite the threats, Ibrahim refused to escape Aleppo and kept helping his family along with a large group of “Beyaz Eller” workers.

He is 35 years old and has four sons.

Notwithstanding, yesterday Aleppo was subject to 150 attack by Assad and Russian forces, causing the 100 deaths and 200 injuries.
