Supported by “Qatar Charity Association”, “Beyaz Eller” established a portable bakery to provide free bread to afflicted families in the Syrian inside. The project was executed on 5th of March 2016, and processed flour reached 4 tons every day- that is equivalent to 38,400 loaves or 4,800 bread packs.
The total amount of processed flour reached 620 tons, that is 5,704,000 loaves or 713,000 packs. The project benefited 356,500 Syrians. Bread cars distributed free-of-charge bread on afflicted and displaced families in western rural Aleppo, Great Uram areas, Shamiqu, Kaft Naha, U’wayjel camps, northern rural Hama and rural Idlib.
Noteworthy, Assad air forces shot the bakery with a missile on the 14th of August 2016. The Bakery’s depository was destroyed and, consequently, it stopped working.
