The numbers indicate the remarkable success of the project so far, with thousands benefiting from the essential medical services provided by the health center. Numerous success stories have been achieved, showcasing the positive impact of this initiative.
The health center attended to the patient Ghofran Sheikh Ahmed, 25 years old, who was 39 weeks pregnant with a positive listening placenta and a torn amniotic sac.
After a clinical examination, it was found that the cervix was fully dilated, and the baby was in a breech position. The patient had a history of three previous cesarean surgeries. Due to the unavailability of an ambulance and the urgency of the situation, the decision was made to proceed with a natural childbirth at the center.
The patient successfully delivered her baby at the center following standard procedures, including the delivery of the placenta, administering medications, and providing postnatal care. No complications were observed, and both the baby and the mother were in excellent health.
The newborn, with a weight of 4 kg and a perfect Apgar score of 10 out of 10, was monitored by the center's medical team. Both the baby and the mother were discharged in very good health and returned home.
The patient continued to receive follow-up care at the center by the women's health team. Additionally, the center provided educational sessions on the benefits of breastfeeding, along with the necessary vitamins and medications for the mother.
