With the rise of displacement waves amid protracted conflicts in different Syrian cities, winter brings more suffering and hardship for IDPs living in camps, which became a dreamed destination for thousands of homeless households, despite harsh living conditions.
According to OCHA ‘Syria Response Plan’ 2016, provision of shelter and NFIs are top humanitarian priorities to the afflicted population.
The announced figures reflect the extent of the humanitarian crisis in displacement zones. The number of Syrians forced out of their homes nears 2.3 million, while 5.3 million need NFIs assistance.
