In war-torn Syria, the dire economic and security situation have not affected the besieged, displaced, or deported population only; every Syrian shares the suffering. Conscious to the general reality circumscribing the Syrian citizen’s life, and in accordance with generosity and charity principles that gain prominence during the blessed month of Ramadan, our Iftar project was launched between the period of 9/06/2016 and 9/08/2016.
Supporting Partner
As part of “Ramadan Al-Khayr 2”, Beyaz Eller organization has worked on distributing 500 food baskets to different sectors of the Syrian nation, through funding from “Abdullah Al-Nouri Charity Society”, dedicated from “Sawa’ed Al-Khayr Volunteering Team.”
Where Do We Work?
Unbound to a particular region, the project addressed beneficiaries from different governorates and cities, acknowledging the immense suffering that every Syrian has endured and that devastation has not spared anyone. Accordingly, each of the distributed baskets consisted of basic food products consumed by regular Syrian households.
Project Beneficiaries
The project aimed at alleviating the miser humanitarian crisis brought about by the ongoing war which spared neither people nor land. As means to extend help to everyone, we distributed 500 food baskets, meeting basic food needs, to 2,500 beneficiaries.
