Zakat al-Mal project aims at spreading happiness and joy among Muslims before the Eid. It purifies Muslims’ money and deeds. Beyaz Eller collected Zakat al-Mal to multiply the promised reward from Allah. We channeled the money to different seasonal and productive projects that benefit poor and afflicted families.
Our projects included establishing schools, rebuilding ruined houses and protecting refugees. We also helped the needy setting-up small productive projects to ensure financial sustenance and dignity livelihood to their families.
Recently, Beyaz Eller delivered Zakat to 1,200 deserving poor, needy, displaced and wayfarer families. 120 families in Idlib, 120 in Aleppo, 120 in Hama, 420 in Homs, and 420 in rural Damascus benefited from this project.
Allah (SWT) says in Quran: “Take Sadaqah (alms) from their wealth in order to purify them and sanctify them with it, and invoke Allah for them. Verily! Your invocations are a source of security for them” (009:113).
