In Ramadan, 44,000 Iftar Meals Reached Different Syrian Regions

As Ramadan reaches its second half, the systematic offense on vital civilian facilities and residential areas result into increased misery of the majority of the Syrian population. In addition, deprivation, hunger and general economic disruption became sweeping characteristics of different blockaded areas; families can no longer afford for basic foods while pro-government traders pray off the hungry masses and extract financial resources. To break this vicious circle, Beyaz Eller has executed a Kuwaiti financed project of serving hot meals to 44,000 individuals on Iftar. The project addresses Homa, Idlib, Homs, and western Ghouta and comes under Beyaz Eller Food Security and Livelihood Program.
